Governing Body

Who runs the college

The college is managed by a registered educational society. Its governing body meets quarterly and includes the Principal, teacher representatives and a university nominee.

Statutory Committees

Committees and cells

Each committee has a published composition and meets on a fixed schedule. Minutes are maintained in the Principal’s office and are open to inspection by the university.

Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)

Reviews teaching quality, infrastructure and student feedback; sets the annual quality targets and prepares the institutional report.

Anti-Ragging Committee

Statutory committee with faculty, student and parent representation; operates a confidential complaint line and patrols during the induction weeks.

Internal Complaints Committee

Handles complaints of sexual harassment under the 2013 Act, chaired by a senior woman faculty member with an external member.

Grievance Redressal Committee

Receives academic, administrative and fee-related grievances from students and staff, with a fixed response timeline.

Examination Committee

Coordinates internal assessment, university examination duty, result publication and re-evaluation requests.

Admission Committee

Verifies eligibility, prepares merit lists and supervises counselling and seat allotment for every programme.

Scholarship & Welfare Committee

Processes government and college scholarship applications and identifies students needing fee concessions.

Discipline Committee

Maintains campus conduct standards, reviews attendance defaults and hears disciplinary matters.

Need to raise a concern?

Students, parents and staff may write directly to the Principal’s office. Complaints relating to ragging or harassment are treated as confidential and time-bound.
