Financial Support

No student should stop studying for want of fees

The college operates its own scholarships alongside state and central government schemes. A dedicated scholarship cell helps students apply and follows up on disbursement.

College Merit Scholarship

Who qualifies: Students scoring 85% or above in the qualifying examination

Benefit: Up to 50% waiver of tuition fee for the first year, renewable on performance.

Topper’s Award

Who qualifies: Programme toppers of the previous academic year

Benefit: Full tuition waiver for the following year, plus a certificate of merit at the annual function.

Sports Scholarship

Who qualifies: Players representing the state or university

Benefit: Tuition concession of 25–100%, free sports kit, and hostel priority.

Need-based Assistance

Who qualifies: Students from families with limited means

Benefit: Partial fee waiver from the Principal’s student welfare fund, decided case by case.

Sibling Concession

Who qualifies: Two or more siblings studying at the college together

Benefit: 10% tuition concession for the younger sibling.

Single Girl Child Concession

Who qualifies: The only girl child of a family

Benefit: 10% tuition concession across the programme duration.

How to apply

  1. Collect the scholarship form from the scholarship cell, or apply online on the relevant government portal.
  2. Attach income, category, residence and bank documents along with your admission receipt.
  3. Submit to the scholarship cell before the deadline announced on the notice board.
  4. Track the status with your application number; the cell will notify you when the amount is credited.

Applications are verified by the college and forwarded to the sanctioning authority. Disbursement timelines are set by the government department concerned.
